An Old World Afternoon

We are so excited to be working with photographer Samantha Bonpensiero. Her amazing work completely blew us out of the water! You can hire her and see her portfolio here: samanthabonpensiero.com. We were going for an old world, European & Moroccan type feel with this wedding inspiration scene. "An Old World Afternoon" was an impromptu photoshoot and just the first of many!

Funky "Mini" Centerpieces

Succulents and Gum Tree Balls Succulents are a great way to introduce some unique colors and unexpected shapes into a center piece. The little spiky green gum balls we used in this arrangement add a little sass don't you think?
Woodland cluster We centered dahlias & billy balls on a thick slice of tree trunk to make a unique color splash. A simple centerpiece that still holds it's own.
Jewel toned edibles Yum! We placed plums, radishes, and pears clustered together on a shallow silver bowl for an old world feel and a touch of the unexpected.
Delicate Harvest These frothy cattails are so sweet in a ball jar with orange mini "pumpkins" and a brown satin ribbon. Unexpected and simple!
Locally Grown We've been really into fruit lately. Limes and avocados with a vintage green bowl make a small but elegant addition to the table.
Nature's Little Baubles The exploding bubbly texture of the pepper berries, rose hips, hypericum, and seeded eucalyptus in this arrangement almost completely overwhelms a handful of velvet red and orange roses. Definitely one of our most funky mini centerpieces ever.
Paper Flowers We have a huge inventory of paper flowers (and teach classes on how to make them too). These delicate and funky flowers are a fun conversation piece and can be enjoyed for years to come.

Marie Antoinette Styled Shoot

Coming soon! Our Marie Antoinette inspired photo shoot is scheduled to be featured on the blog Roses and Lace on January 1st 2014! Once featured we'll be posting more photos here on our own blog as well.

For this gorgeous shoot we decided in indulge our inner princesses and go over the top with the flowers, jewelry, gowns, make-up, hair, table scape, sweet treats and more. Stay tuned!
